ABOUT THE SAINTS

Honky Tonk Saints is a dynamic acoustic duo delivering good-time country music inspired by the legends of honky tonk. With William Lee on lead vocals and harmonica, and John Castro on guitar and vocals, the Saints bring a rich blend of harmony, rhythm, and heart to every performance.
William grew up singing in southern gospel quartets at church and listening to his grandparents vinyls of Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn and Glen Campbell. William’s love for country music really started when he bought his first old beat-up pick up truck in high school when 90s country was the hottest thing on the radio.
John has been actively playing lead guitar, bass guitar and drums for various bands and a variety of genres since he was a teenager, but he particularly loves country music and currently plays with William in another country act called Bootleg Band who specialize in new country and line dancing.
Their setlist features crowd favorites from George Strait, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Elvis, Marshall Tucker band and more—making them a perfect fit for wineries, bars, restaurants, and music festivals looking to add authentic, heart-felt country music to the lineup.
From laid-back afternoon sets to lively evening shows, Honky Tonk Saints adapt to the room and deliver a professional, engaging performance every time.
William and John have been playing and singing with the successful coverband, Bootleg, for over three years and have performed at venues like the Salinas Rodeo, San Jose Live in Downtown SJ, The Sunnyvale Art and Wine Festival, The Good Ol' Days Festival in Pacific Grove, The Granada Theatre in Morgan Hill as well as various wineries, local bars/grills and private parties and corporate events.
